Reservations at the DoubleTree Guest Suites -
Lexington
for the Kentucky Shoe Buying Mart
Retailers who wish to stay overnight in
Lexington are free to stay
anywhere they wish. The Kentucky Shoe Travelers does,
however, reserve
a
block of rooms at the DoubleTree Guest Suites. These can be
used
for exhibitors or by stores. About a month before the
show we
have to release most of these rooms so that the hotel can book other
guests. We usually hold on to a few rooms as long as we can
for late exhibitors and
retailers.
Since the Kentucky Shoe Buying Mart books between twenty and
twenty-five percent of the rooms at the hotel, it is highly likely that
all rooms
will be booked before the show dates. You MUST book your
room early to be sure that you have a location.
The DoubleTree does provide a discount rate to exhibitors and retailers
who are booked under KSTA. You MUST book your rooms directly
with
the DoubleTree Guest Suites Lexington.
The national booking services for
DoubleTree do not have information on the KSTA discount rate.
